Robert M N, Grade 10, Kyiv

Hello, my name is Robert M.N., and I am a student of PSI Kyiv. My education has been interrupted by the full-scale invasion. I have lived in Ukraine since I was born and had to flee when the war started. Experiencing everything that was happening around me, what I saw on the news and what friends, relatives whose family members have been killed told me I automatically thought of this topic for my project. When I had projects at school I always created them with the hope of solving a problem or helping people. In such circumstances I thought it was only right to connect my Personal project with helping Ukraine, more specifically with helping soldiers through new technology, drones. Medical delivery supply drones are a new topic for my country and for the world.

These new drones are modified to save lives of civilians, but particularly soldiers who are hurt and need medicine or blood in such places that are too risky for other soldiers to deliver them. My goal was to learn how drone technology could help Ukraine's humanitarian needs, particularly when it involves delivering medical supplies to places destroyed by armed conflict as well as hurt soldiers on the front line. Inspired by the struggles that soldiers and civilians have after they lose access of basic supply like food and medicine, I started to learn about drone navigation, its different types and its application in humanitarian operations.
